Trentadue Chocolate Amore ~ Dessert in a bottle!
Wine and chocolate are usually at the top of most people’s gift list at this time of the year, but why buy TWO gifts if you can accomplish the same thing with ONE?
Our Trentadue Chocolate Amore` is the perfect combination of red wine and chocolate, sure to satisfy even the most demanding chocolate lover on your Valentine’s list!
This chocolate port is a blend of full-bodied, silky, fruity Merlot that has been infused with chocolate essence to create something quite wonderful ~ a cherry tootsie-pop in a bottle!
Remember how the cherry tootsie-pop was all fruity and yet you could still smell and taste the chocolate hidden in the center of the tootsie-pop? If you were like me, you crunched right through that cherry candy to get to the chocolate and were rewarded with the combination of cherry, chocolate bliss!
When you sip your Trentadue Chocolate Amore` visions of Tootsie-Pops will dance in your head ~ I promise! $22.99 p/bottle
We produce this opulent dessert wine from Merlot grapes grown on our Geyserville Ranch. Borrowing from the traditions of port making, we add neutral grape spirits to stop fermentation trapping a percentage of sugar in the wine. Once Chocolate Amore is finished aging and is ready for bottling, we infuse a tiny amount of natural chocolate extract to the final blend, creating the perfect marriage of food and wine. This Merlot-based, port-styled chocolate flavored dessert wine is great as a stand-alone dessert, or over vanilla ice cream or dark, decadent brownies.
